Trail Decision 1:
You just left Fort Independence four weeks ago. Normally wagon trains stop to get water. Water has been scarce for this spring. You were looking forward to water at Prairie Wells.
You get to Prairie Wells and go straight for the wells, but you find four men guarding them. The price of water is $10 for one barrel! You don’t want to pay that much for water! You need to decide what to do!
1. You decide to pay $10 for the water barrel and share with other train members.
2. You decide to buy some but don’t share.
3. You decide to keep going and hope to find some water on the trail.
4. You decide to attack the guards and get water for free!
Trail Decision 2:
Your journey west is almost over. There is only one more snowy mountain until you get to Hacker Valley. Then you will finally be there! You have been dreaming of this day! But it’s November, and it’s snowing.
A Native American has been guiding you ever since you left your last stop. He said this is the 4th snow this November. Snow Pass might be blocked off! He thinks it’s still open, but might be closed soon. What are you going to do? Everyone is arguing, but you can’t waste time! You have to make a decision!
1. You decide you need to get through Snow Pass so you can go to Hacker Valley.
2. You decide to send scouts to see if Snow Pass is open.
3. You decide to stay in High Valley until the snow stops.
4. You decide to go back and spend the winter at your last stop.
